About EarlyHello

EarlyHello mails your postcard to businesses the week they open, matched to what you sell and where you work.

What EarlyHello is

EarlyHello is a subscription for local business-to-business vendors: commercial cleaners, sign shops, payroll firms, bookkeepers, commercial insurance brokers, managed IT providers, restaurant suppliers, uniform and linen services, security installers, landscapers, printers and about thirty more trades.

A business that has just opened has to choose all of those in its first few weeks. EarlyHello watches the public records that say a business is opening, works out which vendors sell to that kind of business in that area, and mails that vendor's own postcard the week the doors open. The card carries the vendor's brand, a tracking number that rings their real phone and a QR code to a page built for that one business.

EarlyHello serves the United States. A territory is sold only where the record feeds behind it are running, and a vendor whose area is not running yet is told so plainly and emailed the week it is.

What runs, and when

This is the whole operating schedule. Nothing on it waits for a person.
WhenWhat happens
Every dayPublic county, city and state business records are read, new records are graded, and candidates are confirmed against a real street address.
Every dayConfirmed openings are matched to the customers who sell to that kind of business in that area, and cards are queued.
Every weekCards print and go out first class, addressed to businesses that have just opened, each with a line written to that business.
Every weekA report goes out: what mailed, what was delivered, who called, who scanned, and what it cost.
ContinuouslyCalls and texts to the number on a card reach the customer's real phone and are logged against the card that earned them.
Every monthBilling runs from the cards that actually mailed, and the volume guarantee is checked and applied without being asked for.

No step in a customer's month needs a person on our side. Discovery, confirmation, matching, card copy and design, printing, mailing, follow-ups, call tracking, reporting and billing all run on their own.

That is also why nothing on this site claims a person checks your cards before they go out. A customer who wants to look first turns on a weekly review window and skips whatever they like; the whole loop is written out here.

What the customer decides

The card

The logo, the photograph, the headline, the offer, the date on the offer and the name it is signed with.

Who gets one

Which kinds of business, how far out, whether branches of national brands are included, and any single business they would rather skip.

How often

One card, two, five or eight per business, and the most cards they want mailed in a month.

Whether it runs at all

Pause and cancel are both two clicks in the dashboard, with no contract and no notice period.

What is promised

  • A floor on volume. At least 15 matched businesses a month, or that month's $59.99 fee is waived. The terms in full.
  • One price, on the page. $59.99 a month plus $2.49 a card, billed as cards mail. Worked out at three volumes.
  • An undeliverable card is credited back on your next invoice, and an address the printer cannot verify is held rather than mailed.
  • A straight answer about coverage. An area whose records are not running is not sold to, and nothing is charged while it waits.
  • A removal is honoured everywhere at once. A business that asks to stop receiving cards comes off the public pages, every customer's dashboard and the next mail batch.

What is deliberately never done

  • No number is published that cannot be traced to our own records or to a cited public source with the date it was read. There is no response rate on this site, because no benchmark exists for mail to businesses that just opened.
  • No customer count, no star rating, no testimonial, no case study and no logo wall. If we do not have it, the page does not have it either.
  • No invented person on a card. The photographs we supply show hands at work and are framed so no face and no head is ever in them, and nobody in one is presented as the customer's staff, their premises or their result.
  • No owner names and no home-based businesses, in the data or on a card.
  • No consumer data bought from a list broker, and no customer's information sold or shared to be marketed to.

Where the records come from and how information is handled are the long versions, with our own numbers on them.

Getting in touch

hello@earlyhello.com reaches support, and the support page says what can be changed for you and which of those you can do yourself in a few clicks.

The one thing worth checking first

Whether the records where you work are running. Everything else on this site is only useful after that answer.
