How it works

Set it up once. It runs every week.

You approve one card. After that the week runs on its own: records are read, addresses are confirmed, openings are matched to what you sell, cards print and mail, and calls come back to your phone with the card that earned them attached.

The week, in order

  1. Step 01

Public records are read, every day

Business tax certificates and licences, health and liquor permits, building permits and state business filings, from county, city and state publishers. What each kind of record tells you is its own page, with the numbers from our own ingest log on it.
  2. Step 02

Each record is confirmed at a street address

A record is paperwork until it has a door. Every candidate is checked against a live listing at a real commercial street address before it can be mailed, and a record that does not confirm stays off your list rather than going out as a guess.
  3. Step 03

The ones you cannot mail are removed

A registered agent's office, a home address, an apartment, a mailbox at a pack-and-ship, a vending route at somebody else's site, a branch of a national brand, a permit type that is not a business at an address. Each has its own rule, and the table below says how each one reads.
  4. Step 04

What is left is matched to what you sell

Your trade comes with a default set of business types and you can edit it. Matching starts from your own city at the radius on your account and widens fifteen miles at a time, up to 80 miles, until you have at least 15 matches in the month. A business that sells what you sell is kept off your list by its industry code.
  5. Step 05

Your card is written and designed for your trade

Your logo, your photo, one headline, one offer with a date on it, your first name, your return address and a tracking number. You approve it once. Change the offer whenever you like and the new version goes out with the next batch.
  6. Step 06

Cards print and mail the week they open

6x9, both sides, first class, addressed to the business by name with a line written to that business. An address the printer cannot verify is held before it prints instead of being mailed and written off, and that card is not billed.
  7. Step 07

    Their call rings your phone

The number on the card forwards to your real phone. Every call and text is logged against the card that earned it. Audio is not recorded unless you switch recording on in Settings, and when it is on the caller hears a short notice first. The QR code opens a page built for that business, with your offer, your number and a two-field quote form.
  8. Step 08

A report arrives once a week

What mailed, what was delivered, who called, who scanned, and what it cost. The same figures are in your dashboard the moment they happen.

What gets removed, and why

Every rule below exists because a card sent to one of these is a card wasted. The grading happens before anything is matched, so a row that fails never reaches your list. The counts are our own rows, as of September 28, 2026.
94 records survive every rule and can be mailed, out of 1,526 read so far. The rest were dropped by a rule below, are not confirmed against a listing yet, are a duplicate of a site already held, or came from a feed's first bulk load. 60,661 records were read on the most recent run of each feed.
The ruleWhat it removesRows dropped
junkNot a storefront: a permit type or name that is not a business at an address328
homeA home address, an apartment or a mailbox97
out of areaOutside the area its feed covers116
chainA branch of a national brand107
personRegistered under a person's own name, with no trading name39
routeA vending or contract route at somebody else's site22
institutionA hotel, hospital, campus or shipping counter20

Chains are the one that is a setting rather than a rule: a franchise owner does buy hood cleaning, pest control and fire service locally, so branches of national brands are off by default and can be switched on. The records page shows how many rows each rule has removed so far.

How often one business hears from you

A first card and a set number of follow-ups, all counted from the first card so a late print does not push the rest of the schedule back. A follow-up stops on its own as soon as that business calls or asks for a quote.
Day 0 is the week the business opens.

What you can steer

None of this is required. The defaults run a full week without being touched.

A weekly review window

Switch it on and a batch waits before it mails so you can skip specific businesses. Switch it off and the batch goes.

Which types you want

Your trade arrives with a default set of business types. Add the ones you want, remove the ones you do not.

A monthly cap

Set the most cards you want mailed in a month. Matching keeps going; mailing stops at the cap.

The offer on the card

Pick one from your trade's list or write your own. Swap it for a seasonal one whenever you like.

What needs you

One thing, once.
  • Approve your card. Upload a logo and a photo, pick an offer, confirm the phone the tracking number should ring, and say yes. That is the list.

Everything else — reading the records, confirming addresses, grading, matching, writing the line to each business, design, printing, postage, follow-ups, the call log, the weekly report and the billing — runs without a person on our side. That is also why there is no claim on this site that anyone reviews your cards before they go out.
