Do I have to approve every mailing?
You approve your card once. After that, matching and mailing run on their own every week. If you change the offer or the photo, you approve the new version and it replaces the old one. You can turn on a weekly review if you want to skip specific businesses before they mail.
Who is the card from?
You. Your name, your logo, your return address, your phone. We're the print shop and the mail room. The new business never sees our name.
How do you know a business actually opened?
We read public filings, licenses, and permits daily, then confirm each one against a live listing at a real street address. Registered-agent offices, home addresses, and mailboxes get filtered out. If an address turns out undeliverable, the card is refunded.
What results should I expect?
Direct mail to businesses that just opened runs well above ordinary cold mail, but it is still mail. Plan on one new customer a quarter, more in categories every new business has to buy in its first month. If your average customer is worth less than a few hundred dollars, this probably isn't for you.
What if there aren't enough new businesses near me?
We start with your county and widen the area automatically until you have at least 15 matches a month. If we can't get you there, that month's fee is waived.
Can I see the list without mailing?
Yes. Every match shows in your dashboard with a phone number whether or not a card goes out. Plenty of vendors use the list to call and the card to warm up the call.
